Every year, thousands of scholarships, fellowships, grants, and job opportunities open up for young Africans, and every year, many of them go unseen, or are applied for blindly by people who never fully understood what they were signing up for.
Youth Gateway Africa exists to close that gap.
Who We Are
We are a youth-focused opportunity curation platform dedicated to making scholarships, jobs, fellowships, and grants accessible, understandable, and actionable for young people across the African continent, not just one country, but Africa-wide.
Why We Exist
Talent has not the problem. The problem has been access. Too many capable young Africans miss out on life-changing opportunities simply because they never heard about them, or because they applied without reading the the eligibility requirements, or what the selection process actually values.
We believe that access to opportunity shouldn't depend on which city you live in or how much time you have to dig through scattered information online. So instead of just posting links, we go deeper. For every opportunity we share, we break down:
- What the opportunity actually is
- Who genuinely qualifies
- What documents and preparation are required
- What the selection process looks for
- An honest verdict on who it's a good fit for
Scholarships, jobs and internships, fellowships and leadership programs, grants (from both governmental and non-governmental organizations), and skills training opportunities, curated from across Africa.
